Our Brewers Notes: Brewed seasonally using three malts (pale malt, crystal malt and chocolate malt)to give this roguishly smooth milk stout real depth and intensity. Chocolate, coffee and toasty malts are lifted by bitter-sweet notes and floral undertones; we love the complexity and slow reveal of this masterclass in malt. 

Our Beer Name: ‘Penny come quick’ was the name Falmouth harbour went by centuries ago and, like many of the characters who passed through the town in those days, Being a characterful bunch ourselves, we like to think of those wayward sailors as lovable rogues – just like our Penny. Balancing tradition and innovation, the craft of brewing and everyday appeal, we love creating revivalist styles like this - just as much as we enjoy coming up with hoppy, punchy IPAs.
